Hi, When looking up the service history for a 2011 Jaguar XK on the OSH website, it shows the 2 most recent services were carried out by SE Jags in London. I don't believe these to be affiliated with Jaguar. Looking at the terms and conditions on the OSH website it states "The OSH Owner websites may also include details of services carried out by Independent repair facilities not affiliated to JLR". What does this mean exactly, what are the OSH Owner websites and who has the permissions to add

I've got a 2014 XF 2.2d, which is turning, but fuel doesn't seem to be getting to the engine. The mechanic is now talking about taking the injectors out to test them, but that will take the bill to now to over £900, without a fix. Anyone got any experience of this and or would you advise to go ahead/ stop now and scrap?

Hello, everyone. Last year my Jag got an advisory on the headlamp lenses. I was told it's a common thing as they're made of plastic and not glass. They were polished up and it just scraped through the MOT but they are poor so it could really use new ones. The MOT is looming. I've looked online but can only seem to find second hand ones. Are they no longer available as new? Complete light assemblies preferred but I suppose it's going to come down to price and availability. What is available, or

Hello all, I've just joined the group and celebrated 12 months with my 2018 XE 2 litre petrol (250). I'm a bit vague as to where it sits in the range, but I think it's the second level up. Anyway, I'm very happy with it but I don't like the headlamps, finding them a little dim when there is modern oncoming vehicles. So, can anyone recommend brighter bulbs that won't blind other drivers. Much obliged.

It sounds as though there may be air in the ABS hydraulic system which can only be purged by running the pump. I have successfully managed to crack the unions and bleed through the threads on the modulator block - and there are a lot of pipes going in and out of there. Have someone pumping the brake pedal on you command and crack the unions enough to see if fluid comes out or not. It is a messy activity but make sure you cover anything that can be affected by the fluid and also wash down all spillages on the floor.

Need help with my XK's now useless brakes, since swapping out the pads all round then replacing a rear calliper due to a leak through the hand brake actuator shaft, I now have a very soft pedal which feels firm after the first pump "less than half travel" but keep pressure on the pedal and it sinks to the floor. I have bled the brakes so much I should have shares in Mobil by now and the brake booster is working as it should. After over 40 years of doing my own service and countless brake rebuilds in that time, I have never had a car hate me so much. Any ideas where I'm going wrong would be very much appreciated. Pete.

I had a similar problem occasionally when I first had this X type. I disabled autolocking using a system I found on one of the websites. Never missed it and far sfer than getting trapped in the car.
